Long-Term Visit Pass

Eligibility

a) Spouse of a Singapore Citizen & Spouse of a Singapore Permanent Resident (PR)

b) Mother or Grandmother of a child or grandchild studying in Singapore on a Student’s Pass

c) Unmarried child (aged under 21) born within the context of a legal marriage

to, or has been legally adopted by a Singapore citizen/Singapore Permanent Resident (PR)

d) Parent of a Singapore citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident (PR)

e) Graduate from an Institute of Higher Learning seeking employment in Singapore

f) Visitor seeking permission to give birth in Singapore

Processing Time

• New and renewal Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) will be processed within six
weeks*, provided all the required documents are submitted.

  1. Documents Required for Spouse of a Singapore Citizen & Singapore
    Permanent Resident (PR)
  2. Documents Required for Mother or Grandmother of a child or grandchild

Applicants:
• Passport Size Photo (Within 3 months)

• Travel Documents (Passport)

• Marriage Certificate

• Letter of Employment

• Salary Slip for the past six months

• Form 14B

• Application Declaration Form

Sponsor:

• Marriage Certificate

• Letter of Employment

• Salary Slip for the past six months

• Sponsor Declaration Form

b) Documents Required for Mother or Grandmother of a child or grandchild studying in Singapore on a Student’s Pass

Applicants:

• Passport

• Disembarkation/ Embarkation (D/E) number (if applicable).

• Marriage certificate

• Divorce certificate and custody papers, if any

• The applicant’s recent passport-sized, digital, colour photograph taken within the last three months.

• The child’s birth certificate, passport and Student’s Pass card (if the applicant is the child’s mother) or;

• The grandchild’s birth certificate and those of his/her parents, and his/her Student’s Pass card (If the applicant is the child’s grandmother).

Sponsor:

• NRIC

c) Documents Required for Unmarried child (aged under 21) born within the context of a legal marriage to, or has been legally adopted by a Singapore citizen/Singapore Permanent Resident (PR)

Foreign Child (Applicants):

• Passport biodata page

• Disembarkation/ Embarkation (D/E) number (if applicable).

• Birth Certificate and adoption documents (if any)

• The applicant’s recent passport-sized, digital, colour photograph taken within the last three months.

Singapore Citizen/ Permanent Resident Parent Sponsor:

• Identity Card

• Certificate(s) showing highest level of academic qualification

• Marriage certificate

• Divorce certificate and custody papers, if applicable

• Income Tax Notice of Assessment for the past three years, and Central Provident Fund (CPF) Statement showing monthly CPF contributions for the past 12 months

• Letter of employment, stating date of commencement, designation and monthly salary.

• For those who are self-employed, a valid registration certificate from the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) and the company’s Profit and Loss Statement for the past 12 months.

• Payslips for the past 6 months

d) Documents Required for Parent of a Singapore citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident (PR)

Parent (Applicants):

• Passport biodata page

• Disembarkation/ Embarkation (D/E) number (if applicable).

• The applicant recent passport-sized, digital, colour photograph taken within the last three months. Please click here for photo guidelines.

• Adoption papers, if any.

SPR / PR child aged above 21 (Sponsor):

• Birth certificate

• Marriage certificate (if applicable)

• Certificate(s) showing highest level of academic qualification

• Income Tax Notice of Assessment for the past three years, and Central Provident Fund (CPF) Statement showing monthly CPF contributions for the
past 12 months

• Letter of employment, stating date of commencement, designation and monthly salary.

• For those who are self-employed, a valid registration certificate from the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) and the company’s Profit and Loss Statement for the past 12 months.

From the spouse of SPR / PR Child (sponsor’s spouse, if applicable):

• NOA for the past three years, and Central Provident Fund (CPF) Statement showing monthly CPF contributions for the past 12 months

• Letter of employment, stating date of commencement, designation and monthly salary (if applicable).

• For those who are self-employed, a valid registration certificate from the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) and the company’s Profit and Loss Statement for the past 12 months (if applicable).

• Payslips for the past 6 months (if applicable).

e) Documents Required for Graduate from an Institute of Higher Learning Seeking mployment in Singapore

Graduate (Applicants):

• Certificate(s) showing your highest level of academic qualification

• Passport biodata page

• Disembarkation/ Embarkation (D/E) number (if applicable).

f) Documents Required for Visitor Seeking Permission to Give Birth in
Singapore

Foreign Mother (Applicants):

• Passport biodata page

• Spouse’s passport biodata page

• Disembarkation/Embarkation (D/E) number (if applicable).

• Marriage certificate

• A letter from a locally registered doctor stating the expected delivery date and whether there are any complications with the pregnancy

• A letter from the applicant’s embassy or high commission stating that the newborn child will take the applicant’s nationality, and that it will issue the child with a valid passport or travel document

• Your recent passport-sized, digital, colour photograph taken within the last
