Corporate Governance Conference 2022

The Corporate Governance Conference aims to examine ideal corporate governance procedures.

This year’s central theme is the significance of improving company governance during disruptive times. There will be discussions on some subjects, such as how stakeholders manage supply chain disruptions and other environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues.

Discussions at the forums will centre on how internal audit, board diversity, and business integrity improve the organization’s ability to manage its operations and ensure that its governance is adequate.

Investor Forum

Every year, as part of Corporate Governance Week, the SIAS Investor Forum is held to inform retail investors about the newest trends and problems in corporate governance that could impact their investments.

This year’s discussion will focus on the relationship between ESG and shareholder value, taking a close look at how ESG engagement benefits both businesses and investors. Evidence shows that investor engagement with companies on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues can increase shareholder value.
